Sixth Avenue West Clubhouse has been in Hendersonville since 1983 and was re-created as Sixth Avenue Psychiatric Rehabilitation Partners, Inc. in September 2006 following several failed initiatives around mental health reform. You will recognize us in the community as Sixth Avenue. Our current programs and services were identified by those we serve as critical to a full continuum of recovery. Today our Clubhouse is joined by an Assertive Community Treatment Team and Outpatient Wellness and Recovery programming. Sixth Avenue continues to inspire hope, wellness and recovery for those living with mental illness. Staff and members work together to create, imagine, and build communtiy one day at a time, one individual at a time, one donor at a time.
As a privledged member of our local non-profit community, we are dedicated to being good neighbor and communtiy partner. All of our programs are accredited by the Commission on the Accreditaion of Reahbilitation Facilities. Our Clubhouse is a charter member of the International Center for Clubhouse Development.
